Travel north to Spiritwood Acres 18-hole golf course. Then a mile further is Good Spirit Provincial Park with  swimming and boating for everyone. Enjoy catching pike and pickerel. Winter can be more enjoyable with ice fishing, cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails for the outdoors people. 

To the west is Theodore Dam where there's good fishing for pickerel, jack and perch. 

Springside is surrounded by farms and agricultural operations of all types, including, to the east, an elk farm and to the south (approximately 32 km.) a bison farm.  

Wildlife is abundant in our area. When fall is upon us, hunters are dressed in camouflage clothing to hunt geese and ducks. Later in November they don their coveralls, red or white and stalk the deer. 

There are numerous places to explore. Drive any direction for a lazy summer drive and see nature at its best.
